Does anyone know any good programs to make beats with?
not garage band, i dont have a mac. Not Digital DJ pro, bcuz it sucks and they want me to download all their stupid shxxt that comes with it, but are there any good audio recorders w/ beats makers or just beats makers programs for free to download? I’m really trying to make a rap, Like i want to write it, but i need to get a beat for it before I can know what speed and stuff to rap at . Ya know? (Kinda hard to explain but please please let me know)
Thanks! and no dumb answers, because I have no time for stupidity.

Lizzie asks…
What is a really good program to make beats?
I wanna know what the absolute best program is to make beats, and where to get it.

I’ve seen people ask this question over and over again… “what is the best program” to make beats. It really depends on the person who makes beats and what works for them. Like for me, I’m going to say the absolute best program for ME is FL Studio as I’ve tried others but enjoy working with it more. Some will say Reason is, some will say Cubase, and so on. It really depends on what you want or what has the best learning curve for you. I’ve gotten many compliments on the hip hop beats I make at my http://www.genycis.com Beats site, and a lot of people say they didn’t know what I used to make my beats.
I also use my own sounds though (that I also made in FL Studio and have at http://www.SoundsForBeats.com), and I think that’s key in making beats now is to not use stock sounds as they don’t typically sound good regardless of the program you use. And there are some that go for what they think is the best program by reviews and can’t make beats on them at all. It’s about what you use and how you use it, not what the “absolute best program” is. Good luck on finding the answer that you need. I’d say if you have the ability, test out some of the programs and see what works best for you to find “the absolute best”. Much respect.
